I had the best experience with Miller and Associates. My attorney Anthony and legal assistant Leigh were extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable, and supportive. They responded back to me in a very timely manner and were thorough in explaining situations. They are the best people to work with. I cannot recommend them enough!
It was a pleasure working with Josh and Leigh throughout the entire process. From start to finish, their communication was clear, transparent, and prompt. Josh took the time to thoroughly explain all the divorce options available to us and encouraged us to do our own research, rather than simply encouraging us to work with him. He answered every question we had, often before we even asked, and provided valuable insights into questions we hadn’t thought of. We were always kept well-informed about the timeline, costs, and what each of us needed to do at every step. It was incredibly reassuring to understand how the court would likely approach different scenarios. I truly felt that all of our concerns were taken seriously, and no question, no matter how small or silly, was dismissed. Ultimately, I feel confident that we made the right choice to ensure we both remain amicable throughout the process.
I can't say enough good things about our experience with Miller & Miller during the mediation process. From the moment we contacted them, it was clear that they truly cared about helping our family reach a peaceful resolution. The entire team was compassionate, patient, and genuinely focused on finding solutions that worked for everyone involved. Josh was excellent at guiding us through difficult conversations, making sure both sides felt heard and understood. What could have been a stressful experience was handled with such professionalism and empathy that we always felt in control and supported. Their ability to break down complex legal terms into something easy to understand was incredibly helpful. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to resolve everything amicably without going to court, saving us time, money, and a lot of stress. If you're looking for a family law firm that puts your family's best interests first, I highly recommend Miller & Miller!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I hired Miller & Associates to handle my divorce, trusting them to complete the process in a timely manner. Not only did they take my money (just under $10k), but they completely neglected to finalize my divorce - a fact I only discovered over ONE YEAR later when I checked on it myself. There was no communication, no follow-up, and no accountability. Had I not taken the initiative to investigate, I would still be under the false impression that my divorce was finalized. This is not just poor service; it's outright negligence. Over the course of more than a year, I have made attempt after attempt after attempt to speak about this matter with either Joshua or Chad Miller (the two brothers who own the law firm). Every single attempt was ignored. I finally got one response from Joshua Miller where I was met with a very condescending tone and zero apology. I was supposed to hear back from him again and never have, despite several more attempts on my part. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, look elsewhere. I strongly advise against hiring this firm for any legal matters - especially something as important as a divorce. *UPDATE to Miller & Associates' response to my initial review: With all due respect to the firm, please do not insult my intelligence by stating that the claims made in my review were not reflective of the reality of my interactions with your office. Throughout my engagement with your firm, Michael Mendonsa only accomplished all of my legal objectives after ONE full year went by of me being misled by your firm that my divorce was complete and final, after I paid almost 10K for services that were not rendered in full. Your firm forgot the most important part...to finalize my divorce (even though I was told it was final and complete)! Where are your checks and balances? How was this not caught by Mr. Mendonsa, or his assistant, or by Chad and Josh Miller when they have their weekly Friday meetings to review all of the cases? By this firm claiming that my review on them is false, is an outright lie on their part! The lack of professionalism from them continues to be astounding. A little bit of humbleness and accountability by the owners, Chad and Josh Miller, would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, they seem to have let their egos get in the way.*
