It took some time to hunt down the insurance company as they kept assigning me to new, different agents. Then after a year or so stopped taking my calls and no calls from them. It took a trained team of attorney's to hunt it down a settle the claim. It's been 3 years since the traffic accident and just got the last check. I had a car accident almost two months ago. The person who hit my vehicle did not have car insurance. After making all the necessary calls regarding the accident I then contacted Barr and Mudford to see what my options were. Katie Barr was so helpful. She advised me several times without charging me. She gave me the confidence to navigate my own insurance company claims and told me if I eventually needed her then I could hire her. She called me today, our 4th interaction, just to see how I was doing. I am really impressed with this family owned law firm. You do not typically receive this kind of service. Just an FYI, I had interacted with another accident/injury law firm before speaking with Barr and Mudford, I did not speak to a lawyer and they wanted me to sign papers to which they could take up to 40% of whatever I received from my claim. This is not so with Barr and Mudford. I highly recommend them.
From the first phone call we were treated as if we were their first clients and very important. As is normal the insurance company wouldn't settle until the time was running out. Barr & Mudford kept us informed and even closed for more than expected.
