I delivered my file to John Carelli and met with him once. Following that, for 5 months I called his office and received no response. I went to his office several times only to find the door locked, him not there. He had no secretary, just a one man office. I left at least 15 messages on his line, stating I wanted to pick up my file and he did not respond until I threatened to turn him in to the BAR. When I picked up my file, his daughter (approximately 10 years old) was sitting in the clients chair, apparently he was using her to protect himself from the words I would have said had she otherwise not been there. He held my file which prevented me from progressing in my case.
